@the_jell0_b0wl: hello! There are no tutorials that I can find replicating my pattern and I have failed to explain it in the past, but the trick to it is just Glue! ^^

I have examples on my profile of how they are ment to look when assembled

Heart and skull lock: https://kandipatterns.com/photo-page/heart-and-sku...

Moon and sun lock: https://kandipatterns.com/photo-page/sun-and-moon-...

The solid pieces are the back/front panels of the locket and any piece where a hole is present is where the key is ment to fit!

For the heart it has two panels with a hole so the key fits in the front. One with a handle and one without. With the skull lock, it has two flat pieces with only one with the hole and handle. One panel on the front and back, with the handle piece in the middle so the key fits, in the middle!

When melting your perlers for the key however, you want to be careful about the edges and structure of the key part. You do not need a lot of heat to melt a thin line of plastic so BE CAREFUL. Any excess plastic from overheating can be cut AFTER cooling to be able to fit into the locket.

Glue down the edges for security when applying the locket parts together (I just used hot glue) and you have yourself A locket cheer

Please let me know if you believe there are things I missed to explain as well as questions on steps for a better understanding!

I have also replicated this technique with changes to make perler shakers and patterns!

Perler bucket shaker pattern: https://kandipatterns.com/patterns/misc/perler-buc...

Thins lines need more support when melting so add additional beads to help along in the melting process. These are walls used to stack on top of the flat back panel to hold things inside.

The top layer is tricky when you can not find any clear film to help the shaker shake! For my projects I used old folder sleeves to cut to shape of my project and glued together to create the plastic film.

Secure all pieces with glue and do the shake test!!! Make it sounds great to you and does not risk any leaks!

I hope this helps heart bounce
