Patterns not showing up?

I just made a pattern but it is not showing up on the voting tab. It is showing on my profile though

It’s not that big of a deal to me, just bringing up a potential bug!6309031d1e306_skull.gif

Sorry, you are unable to reply. If the thread is still open, you might have been blocked from commenting due to spam or abuse, or we might not have been able to verify that you are a real account. Try updating your profile and interacting more on the site. There are greater restrictions on forum comments due to spam. Spam comments will still not be published, even for verified accounts

@pocketcosmic: if you have edited an older pattern and then set it to public it might be showing but not on the first page. It tends to appear on a page further back than the first page. If you let me know the pattern I can tell you if that’s the case.

If you use another user’s pattern as a base template, it gets flagged as copied because the site doesn’t have a way of judging how much of it you have changed. If you think you have a pattern that should be showing in the voting queue but isn’t, please tell me which pattern and I’ll have a look. So far I haven’t found any that are marked as copies but weren’t originally from another user. It doesn’t flag them as copies if you copy your own pattern which you created on a blank template, but it does if your “own pattern” was originally made on top of another user’s template

@lugiachan: yeah, when i make a new pattern it shows up but when i edit one I've already made it doesn't show up even if i select public. I guess i can understand why a copy of another users pattern didn't come up, bit it is strange that one's own edit is flagged as a copy.

I have that problem too, even when I copy it from my own pattern.

the exact same thing is happening to me, it’s kinda strange cause it’s just edits of a pattern I already made. Is there any way to fix this

@Crumpet: I copied a mask from another post to use the template, that’s probably it

It is probably flagged as copied from another user by the system. I’ll let you know when I know for sure
