Hiii! i apologize if this kind of thread isnt allowed here, please delete it if its not

Today is the start of the #FixTF2/SaveTF2 movement! I wanted to give some info on what all of this is about since some of you guys might have heard of it before ^_^

Team Fortress 2 has been dealing with cheater bots for around 4 years now. These bots join casual servers and select the sniper class who can headshot and kill anyone instantly, this is normally balanced out by the fact that humans cant aim perfectly. But since these are aimbots they have perfect accuracy and just kill anyone instantly. This makes the game often completely unplayable at times. When joining an official server there is a huge chance its filled with bots.

The company behind TF2, Valve, is fully aware of this issue but refuses to do anything, yet they STILL profit of the game by adding new microtransactions 3 times a years. Valve is a multi-billion dollar company. they absolutely have to resources to fix this issue, yet they dont.

Not only do the people who host these bots ruin the gameplay for everyone, they have also commited actual crimes like, doxxing and even SWATTING youtubers who call them out on their behaviour.

I dont think i need to say more, Valves decision to do absolutely nothing and let the game rot away while still profiting off of it is beyond unacceptable and it makes me very sad to see my favorite game and hyperfixation in this state :[

If you want to help try to get valves attention about the issue, you can sign the petition at save.tf , which they plan to print out all the signatures and send them to Valves headquarters. But even spreading the hashtags helps alot!!
