I don't have an iron for perler beads. What do I use?

I have a hair straighener and a hairdryer. Help!!!!

wait u need an iron??i thought is was like those beads u spray with water and waitshock

you can put it in the oven! use masking tape to tape over the perler design (make sure its pressed on & holding onto every bead), remove from the perler board. Preheat oven to ~200, leave it in for no more than a few minutes. Depending on the oven and design, time varies. keep an eye on it to take it out when its done/before it burns

I wouldnt use the hair dryer it either wouldnt be hot enough or to make it be hot enough it would have to run for a long time which could be dangerous

awesome1 I've seen irons at the thrift store for 5-10$. I can't think of perlers you can make without an iron other than a bracelet made by stringing them together, but i hope you find a way rainbowsmile

i believe you might be able to use an oven? i don’t remember exactly how you do it though and i cant do it either because i don’t have a working oven

maaybe if it's very small and you use masking tape and sandwich it between parchment paper, the hair iron could work. But thrifting an iron would be best.

Thrift stores usually have super cheap irons. Ask to test it before buying.
