oh man its too bad that it got slanted. but it looks like it turned out really well in the end. my guess is there might have been some twisting involved? like, it might be best to try and keep your project laying flat instead of having it suspended mid air where it can dangle and twist around. some ancient memory in my brain i can't quite access is telling me i've had that happen with crochet or something.
